The Medical Intensive Care Unit is where most of the patients who are ill are on life support which could include medication to maintain BP, hemodialysis to support the kidneys or the ventilator to support the patient to breathe.

• Heart or vascular problems (shock or deep vein thrombosis)
• Kidney problems

This is a well-organized 10-bedded, air-conditioned unit equipped with latest monitors, ventilators and supported by medical registrars, experienced duty doctors and skilled nursing staff to handle all the critically ill patients.
